LIFE OF HAM VAN TOUR

This two-hour driving tour traces Smithfield’s proud history of the ham industry. Van seats up to 6 comfortably.

Minimum 4 paid guests or $40.

Includes a complimentary ham roll at Darden's Country Store and admission to the Isle of Wight County Museum.

HISTORIC CHURCH STREET WALKING TOUR (weather permitting)

This walk features dozens of buildings of exceptional architectural importance.  Several of the homes are listed on the National Registry. This tour begins at the Isle of Wight County Museum parking lot, 103 Main Street in Smithfield.

IVY HILL CEMETERY WALKING TOUR (weather permitting)

This walking tour meets at Ivy Hill Cemetery, 451 N. Church Street in Smithfield and is a discussion of the signs, symbols and notable burials in this historic rural cemetery established in 1887.

Minimum 4 paid guests or $20. Available Monday - Friday only.

ARMCHAIR TOUR OF HISTORIC CHURCH STREET

This tour takes the Church Street Walking Tour indoors and is available for seniors with mobility issues or in the case of bad weather. Tour takes place at the Isle of Wight Museum. Minimum 10 guests, Maximum 25.

Available Monday - Friday only.

$7 pp, (Museum ticket included), children under 12 free, Cash/check only

Reservations required with at least a 48-hour notice.
