Mansion on Main B B is accepting reservations at staggered times or intermittently in order to adhere to government public safety precaution guidelines, as well as using common sense best practices as we enter Phase 2 in Virginia.
The Mansion on Main is an iconic treasure located in the heart of downtown Smithfield. It houses a charming Bed and Breakfast so visitors can get a taste of the Victorian elegance of this historic structure built in 1889. Enjoy home cooked breakfasts or stroll next door to the Mansions Art Gallery and Antique Shop.
WEDDINGS SPECIAL EVENTS
The Mansion is also a unique setting for any special event.
Capacity:For weddings during COVID between 20 and 25. After COVID between 40 and 50 would be comfortable. The mansion is fire rated for 75, but that would be tight for a wedding.
Safety Protocols:All recommended measures are in place, including disinfecting and (for upholstered furniture) allowing it to air for at least 48 hours or longer. Hard surfaces are disinfected regularly. Weather permitting, the house is aired out" as often as possible. Safety masks and social distancing is required and hand sanitizers are available at various locations in the house.
