Born May 11, 1751, in Isle of Wight County, Josiah Parker was an American politician, Revolutionary War officer, local militia commander, member of the Continental Congress and Virginia planter who served in the U.S. House of Representatives. Today’s lecture will highlight his life, career and influence on Isle of Wight County.
