Knowing the best paper, paint, and brush for your painting project is key to having fun with watercolors. Designed for beginners, this two session workshop can also help those with some experience who may want to review watercolor basics.
Topics covered include the color wheel, different types of paint, using just primary paints to create many colors, water control, textures, and special techniques with watercolor pencils.
All supplies will be provided, including classroom use of brushes and professional quality paints.
Class fee is $75 for members ($85 for non-members) for each 2-day session plus a materials fee of $5. For students ages 12 to 16. Register by Wednesday the week before class to reserve your seat.
Minimum to hold class: 4, maximum: 8
