Join local artist/author Kimberly Abbott Holland at the Smithfield Library for the first public reading of her newly published book, The Adventures of Joe, Sam, and Dr. Knucklehead: Best in the West.

When Kim's grandsons come for a visit, she creates a world of adventure for them. The first of this three-part series takes place in the Old West with the Hole in the Wall Gang train robbers. The action filled scenes are entertaining for children and adults alike.

Her grandchildren, who live in Kansas, will be visiting for Christmas and plan to be present at the first public reading of Kims new and first published book. Visit the land of cowboy and cowgirl make-believe with Kim (Grammy) and her grandsons Aydon Leon.

After the reading, attendees will be able to ask Aydon and Leon about their idea contributions to the book and any other questions you have. Who knows, they may even tell you some secrets about upcoming books two and three. Free admission.
