Juneteenth Celebration
This event is cosponsored by the Isle of Wight County NAACP, the Schoolhouse Museum,BSV, Town of Smithfield, Blackwater Regional Library, Isle of Wight County Historical Society, Smithfield & Isle of Wight Tourism and Smithfield Foods.
The event will be held along various locations on Main Street on Wednesday, June 19 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Activities include:
Storyteller Dylan Pritchett, 10:30 am - Main Street Stage
The Juneteenth Choir, 11 am - Main Street Stage
The Randall Booth Story, 11:15 am, 2 pm - 1750 Courthouse
Sounds of Music Drummers, 12 noon - Main Street Stage
