The town of Windsor, Virginia, was founded March 15, 1902, and today is a celebration of Windsor history and a chance to hear more of its railroad stories. Local historian Clyde Parker will tell the story of the 1912-1926 Roanoke Railway Company that enabled large quantities of lumber supplying the Camp mill in southwestern Isle of Wight County. The museum will bring artifacts from its collection which highlight the Town of Windsor. Bring some of your own images or artifacts to share while we will enjoy birthday cake following the talk. The event will be held at the Windsor Town Center, 23361 Courthouse Highway, Windsor.
