Brendon, a professional violinist, with degrees from the Curtis Institute of Music and the Juilliard School, will perform a special recital for Sundays at Four in January. Among the special selections will be the Suite for Violin and Piano by William Grant Still, and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Violin Concerto. Brendon has performed as soloist with orchestras throughout the United States such as the New York Philharmonic, Buffalo Philharmonic, and toured with the Virginia Symphony performing Adolphus Hailstork’s Violin Concerto as an opener for Natalie Cole. He is well known for his chamber music performances with the Harlem Chamber Players, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, and was selected to tour as Joseph Bologne’s musical half in Bill Barclay’s play The Chevalie.
Brendon is recognized for his silvery tone and outstanding technique. We are so excited to have him return to SAF.
