PLEASE NOTE! The James River Bridge will be CLOSED IN BOTH DIRECTIONS from 1 a.m. on Friday, January 12 through 5 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16.

So, if you're planning to visit our little hamlet during that time, consider taking the scenic route via the Scotland/Jamestown Ferry or the Monitor Merrimac Bridge. 

Use the Smithfield Visitor Center at 319 Main Street for the GPS address.
